National Night Out (NNO) is an annual nationwide event that encourages residents to get out in the community, holding block parties and getting to know their neighbors as a way to encourage crime prevention. It's a great way to promote community-police partnerships and enjoy a Minnesota summer evening surrounded by friends and family. As with many past National Night Outs, Minneapolis was ranked #1 among all U.S. cities over 250,000 population in 2013. Over 1,450 events were registered and this year we'll plan to register our event.
This year's NNO is Tuesday, August 5th. Please join us for an informal, family-friendly get together and meet your neighbors from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Click here to RSVP for the event or access the menu above. We will hold the gathering at the common grass area between Perry Ct. East, Perry Ct. West and Wingard Place.
Please bring the following:
- Your entire family!
- Your favorite dish to share
- Lawn chairs or blankets
We will provide beverages but feel free to bring your own beverages, if you'd like.
I'm looking forward to meet all of you! If you have any questions, please contact me.
Lock your doors, turn on your lights, go outside and meet your neighbors!
